First time ever at the track with MY own car! got my 2001 Cobra 4 days ago and before that i've only had imports! i love the RWD launching! well heres my 2 runs.. let me know what you think!

1st run:
R/T - .529
60' - 2.332
330' - 6.201
1/8 - 9.253
MPH - 80.65
1000 - 11.877
1/4 - 14.084
MPH - 102.38

2nd run:
R/T - .463
60' - 2.265
330 - 6.041
1/8 - 9.095
MPH - 80.39
1000 - 11.733
1/4 - 13.957
MPH - 101.55

Stock just deleted the mufflers and put in a straight pipe!

Remember the 14.084 is the FIRST time EVER launching a RWD car.. i dunno what these cars were rated at.. i was on Nitto 555's... also the track was preped shitty and the humidity was extremely high! my friend with LS1 T/A with 100 shot ran .3 slower tonight than a few weeks ago. he couldn't get any traction he was doing 2.5 60' on Nitto 555R's. Also my friend with an 03 cobra with 463whp and 467tq on Nitto 555R's pulled the same 60' i did on regular 555's! i was pretty happy about that. but yeah ever car there was running slower than normal!

Let me know what you guys think and someone say approx. what these cars are rated at for 1/4 time!!! my manual says 13.8, if thats the case than i didn't do bad at all for my first RWD car!

welcome to the site!

second run looks pretty good. As you mentioned, your 60' needs some work. practice, practice.

Not bad. You will get better, as you become more familiar with the car. If the track was bad and the humididty high as you say, then your times are good.

yeah the track was shitty! everyone was running slower than what they have pulled off by .2 - .3 seconds slower! traction was the biggest issue.. no one could hook, they only put traction compound down 1 time that night at the start and we had over 150 cars running easily!
