Beautiful day out today in Sacramento low-mid 70's DA was about 400 I believe. 3 runs today. 60' were a problem but I got it down better as the day went on feel I could of posted a 10.3 or lower if I would have had time for more runs. I am told it has a high 9.9 in it as it sits but I think at full-weight which I am (even running my spare) I doubt that is going to happen. But I am going to run this setup on the same wheels/tires for a couple more months and see how low I can go. Nice to meet some other enthusiasts out there but didn't see Blazer or a couple others that were suppose to show up; maybe I missed ya.. next time!!

There was two black 5.0's there one guy from Chico running low 10's on a TVS/auto setup. I am assuming the other black 5.0 was you? How were your times today?

Wow! He says he put down 700 on the Shaun's dyno running a TVS with a 82mm pulley. Stock headers, stock block, stock converter, E85. I just don't see how 700 rwhp is possible and now a 9.7!! Congrats to him and super nice guy but I would like to see under his hood and inside his car. Only thing I can think is a shit-ton of weight reduction.

Nice. It's got a low 10 in it for sure. I'd like to know more details about this 9.7 car... seems kind of far fetched.

Congrats! Awesome runs!

I can see you cutting another 10th out of your 60' maybe 2 10ths quicker in the 1/4...
Not sure who is telling you that you have a "9 sec" pass, but I've honestly never heard of anyone running 9's on an 82mm without spraying it. For a full weight TVS car, 9's are usually around 139mph. Your car is a beast though!!! I'm sure the 10.4 pass put a big ol' smile on your face!

Next up:
Oil pump gears
Fuel system
79mm pulley

Hey guys! Chico guy here checking in :) Nice to meet you yesterday man. I didn't talk to anyone else, but hopefully will meet more of the Sacramento guys!

I wish it was me that got a 9.70 pass. I was so close to my 9 second pass, but not yet... I am pretty sure the black mustang that ran the 9.70 was a 2010< turbo or centrifugal car...

My 2 fastest passes were 10.08 and the other was 10.09 - both passes attached to reference. I have my car down to 3580 lbs. Rear seat delete, maximum motorsports roll cage, took out the passenger seat for track day, BMR radiator support removing the front sway bar, stock auto, stock converter, stock gears, BMR lower control arms, BMR upper control arm (non adjustable), BMR upper control arm brackets, and adjustable QA1 shocks. Weld RTS Wheels with 275x60x15 Hoosier Drag Radials in the rear. The rest is: Roush 2.3L TVS with 82mm Pulley, Ford Racing Twin 65 Throttle Body, ID1000's, JMS BAP, and E85 pumped from Shell on Truxell Rd :)

Starting weight was 3610 - current weight is 3580.

Scott, I've run 9's on multiple occasions with the 82mm pulley, matter of fact Silverback and I have VERY similar setups and power levels... so there's definitely a 9 in with traction and weight reduction. Solid runs OP keep up the good work!

Unless he pulls a 1.3 60' which is highly unlikely I don't see a 9 happening either. Your car must weigh less or have some other differences.

Either way OP is making some good power and running good times(and capable of more).

nice timeslips! Damn I love the auto's! Would a 79mm pully be safe on e85? What's the best way to reach 9's? 79mm, longtubes, converter/transbrake?

Hey brother, good to meet you as well!! Your car is hauling that's for sure! I am sure I will see you on the track soon again.

When I heard 9.7 I was like damn.. gotta be a record for an 82mm TVS lol. That must have been Steve he has the black 2010 AED car. He was shooting for a 9.5 I believe. Not sure on his set-up just met him yesterday as well.
