Track slips/vids inside. What's the potential??

Only got 2 runs in, the track was so busy. This is her first time out... Anyone see a 115 trap here? With a little driver mod and some tire I'm hoping to dip in the 11's. Any opinions on that?? I am deff getting a shift light...

Also what size tire are you guys running? Something to drive to the track on...

Mind you this car has 37k miles

your missing some mph on the back half...you should be trapping 117ish. Granny shifting?

Hmm ok, are you basing that on my mods or 1/8 mph? I don't recall shifting slow, but I deff need a shift light; that might help me concentrate on technique instead watching the tach.
I was shifting at 7000, maybe up that?

basing it on your 1/8 mph and the fact that most cars pick up around 25mph on the back half. My car for example goes 90.xx in the 1/8 and 115.xx in the 1/4.

If you were getting wheelspin on the 1-2 shift that would take some off your mph but unless it was severe id still expect to see more mph. 7000rpm is a good shift point.

Deff some in 1st, you can feel the car has more in it to the 330. I just need some tires and a shift light.

And similar mod cars out there for comparision?

Just for comparison, first slip is bone stock in Texas December air.
Second slip is Bama perf tune + lethal H in Texas summer heat.

Both runs on street tires.
Bad track prep+no driver mod+street tires+heat=FML

Wheel hop and spinning 1st and 2nd didnt help much either. Just ordered some et stiff walls..

Plan to do an AED tune with light suspension mods when i get back in a couple of months. Hopefully by then the weather has cooled down quite a bit over here.

The car also went 12.5 at 101 bone stock, last December with et streets. So I know it's got a whole lot left in it. I let out on that pass cause of the top end sway...
