Hey guys just curious if it's ok to completely get rid of the inserts where the two screws go to get more adjustment out of the tps? or do you need to keep them, I need a bit more adjustment are these strictly for strength?

I have TPS' with and without the inserts. You can elongate the holes to get even more adjustment if need be.
K thanks guys I just wanted to check, since I added cams the car wants more air at start up, I tried doing the base idle reset and to get the car to idle without the iac plugged in I didn't have enough range with my tps I get close but not exact. So hopefully removing the inserts gets me where I need to be.
