I just put 2010+ Gt 500 wheels on my daughters 98 GT. How do I reset the tire pressure monitoring system? I've been told it should reset itself, but it hasn't. And I've been told it needs to be done at the dealer to reset the computer to accept the newer sensors.

Any help?

I know on my fiance's pontiac torrent, I think you set the key to on, start letting some air out of the front left till it chirps or the lights flash, then move to the front right, rear right, and driver right. I'm sure you can google it and find out.

Edit: wait, which car are you trying to "reset"?
