My buddy has the toyo's on all four. Car is glued on the street. Almost hooks first gear.

I am ordering a set for me this month.

The TOYO R888 tire can be used in the rain without any issues. Any DR will keep you on your toes when the rain starts. I would honestly just get another pair of wheels and put DRs on them and have something else to use on the street.

I gotta say this is total bologne! I live in WA and took my car out in the pouring rain a few days ago and today and these are the BEST TIRE I'VE EVER DRIVEN ON IN THE RAIN! hands down! I'd say on wet roads 4/5 and 5/5 on dry. If I get on the gas when its wet, I'll spin for 2-3 seconds and take off like a rocket, break it loose in 2nd gear for 2 seconds then off like a rocket again. I love these MT ET Street Radial II's 295/45/17

Where is the best place to buy the toyo's? I have found the 315 for 263.88.

R888's here. 305's on the rear only right now.. Whoever said you HAVE to run on all four in incorrect. Unless you are open tracking you don't.. For the street it's just fine.. Hooks my 630rwhp/4.10'd Centri car from 2nd everytime.. Haven't tried a 1st gear roll yet..

These ARE NOT a drag radial. They are a road racing tire. IF you plan on take the car to the DRAG STRIP expecting them to perform you will be disappointed.

If you have a fast street car that you want to hook up from 2nd and 1st depending on power level these are the tires for you. You can run them in the rain.. Corner like a SOB and get straight line traction everytime.

I was thinking about 315/30 R888s on 18x10s, but your 305/35s look like they may be a little pinched so 315s would have to be worse. Might have to stick with 295/30s.

Are you running NT555 Nittos upfront?

Yes for now. Looking to switch to a Toyo front to match the rear.

A few weeks of driving on these and the R888's are a perfect daily driver tire for my 700rwhp saleen (red 2002).

Highly recommend! Got caught in the rain yesterday and had zero trouble!

just to let you guys know i drove my car in the rain a few weeks back and at about 60-70mph the rear end broke loose. she regained traction after a second but just a reminder they are still r-compound racing tires. Also i had a chance to punch it on the freeway when traffic cleared from first gear. MY GOD! just about a second of tire peeling then lift off. was thrown back in my seat and i could feel my front end lifting. man i was rolling out. first time my cars felt like that! Thanks toyo.

agreed, these and my MT ET street radial 26x10.5 are literally hazardous in the rain even if you have baby boost.
