Hi guys. I'm new here. I've been on other car forums in the past and I just bought a 2016 Mustang GT Premium a couple weeks ago. I'm adding a Ford Strut Tower Brace to the GT. It came with the K brace, so I'm just adding the cross over brace. Do any of you know the Torque Spec for the Strut Tower Bolts? I'd like to torque them to factory spec.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I added the same part. I think the specs are on the included instructions. I just tightened them more than what it took to take the stock ones off.

These don't need to be muscled on. I believe the torque spec is something like 17-18 ft lbs

Thanks guys. I called the dealership that I purchased the brace from and they looked it up. It's 25 Ft lb. Not inch lbs. Inch lbs would be way to loose. I even tested with my torque wrench to see where the bolts are set... both tightening and loosening and it was about 26 ft lbs.

Just thought I'd let everyone know as this is a popular mod and I'm sure the question might come up again by someone.
