I won some free Torco Accelorator fuel additive for unleaded gas...it says mix it to 5 gal. of 93 octane to make 102 octane. Is this safe to use with my car and any advantages of using it. Right now I make right at 500 rwhp and 530's tq. , the car has been dyno tuned. I just don't want to run it if it will hurt something or produce no advantages over 93 octane. Thanks

it will burn slower and colder, therefore it is safer.....theoretically
but you will not see/feel any power gains unless your tune specifically calls for higher octane as result of higher boost levels and/or degrees of timing over your "pump gas" tune
i always run race gas when doing any spirited driving, it is cheap insurance as it will act as an anti-detonate
but if you just put it in and drive around on your normal tune, you'll have a really good smell from your pipes at stop lights but that's about it

Evidence indicates that 101 is the best you can get, regardless of the concentration........

5gal of 93 with 32 oz of torco - 101
5gal of 93 with 64 oz of torco - 101+?

8gal of 93 with 32 oz of torco - 99
8gal of 93 with 64 oz of torco - 101+?

10gal of 93 with 32 oz of torco - 98
10gal of 93 with 64 oz of torco - 101

15gal of 93 with 32 oz of torco - 96
15gal of 93 with 64 oz of torco - 99
