I have heard the constant theme, "run open throttle in 5th gear for too long without a cooling mod and burn up #7-8 piston. That is pretty dismal in my opinion, we have no warnings about sustaining boost for any given time, why should someone worry about it? My mods are in my sig so I would suspect I would not fall into burned or scorched pistons, please chime in all, thanks, Doc. :beer:

I would bet there is something written somewhere about sustained high engine speed runs. But even if there weren't, you are much less likely to see a problem out of a stock car than a modified one.
