Anyone know the story behind this? It's on the Top Gear test circuit. You will hear the whine after the 458 at the beginning, and you will see what it is near the end of the video.

I think this is my buddies Cobra. He is in the Air Force stationed over there. You should see the pics of some of the cars he gets to run with over there.

Here are some pics off his FB. I think he has a 2.3 whipple on it now. His handle is John Gets Walked. Few videos of him when we were both stationed at Dover. Miss those days lol

The damn basthurst VXR8 is one of the craziest sounding cars ever....the cobra sounded better than all the cars in the second vid except that SLS....

So my friend said he got to ask Hammond why they never covered a Cobra and this is what he said:

"He said they were so rare in UK and the show was still new being launched in 2002 so it wasn't convenient or easily possible to make happen. "
