Well, with the cobra broken down and wanting to satisfy an inch to run something down the 1/4, I decided to take the old 88GT to the track. I haven’t run the car at the track for about 6 years. It currently has 130K miles on the odo, a slight miss and leaks oil all over my driveway.
mods are 3.73 and a flowmaster cat back system.
well, i was surprised at the results i got. my best pass was a 13.91 @ 99.4 MPH.
holy crap, i figured with the slight miss, combined with the stock catted h pipe probably being half clogged up, I would do no better than mid 14's @ 95-96.
the only thing that I didn’t like about running the car, was having shifting at 5,200 RPM. :burnout:
