The widest recommended popular size would be Nitto 555R 305/45/18, personally my plans are to widen my wheels to 11" and run Nitto 555R 305/35-18 or Mickey Thompson ET.

I had the Nitto 555R on my lightning for over a year and loved them, they hooked great. My truck dynoed 480/550 to the wheels. They lasted a long time and I didnt have problems with flats. They also performed well in the rain. Ive never ran the M.T. E.T's but I hear they hook better than the Nitto'd but dont last as long

I just got a Set of 305/35/18 MT ET Street radials that Im going to cram onto my stock rims for the strip. Def wider than Nitto 305/45/18s. The Nittos 555Rs are a great street tire as far as lasting and hook better than the F1s. I will prob put a set of Nitto 305/40/18s on for the street pretty soon.

If you widen the stock wheels to 11", the Nitto 335/35/18s fit great and work very well.

I have the Mickey 305/35-18's on and the fit and look on my stock wheels is great imo. Great dry traction, but don't get caught in rain shower. You'll be sliding all over the place if they are worn at all.
