Quite a few have run 315s
Some need to flip the quads.

Best tire maker is subjective. People have many opinions and it will also depend on what you are doing with the car, how long you want them to last and price.
There are trade offs on all of those.

I know that the 315 Nitto's fit without any problems. I think if you use just about any other tire, you have to break out the big hammer and go to work.

Most common setups are nitto or sumitumo 315/35/17's and a 17x10.5" rear. With those, you SHOULDNT need to flip the quad shock, but it may be necessary.

If you go with a MT or BFG, you will have to flip the quads as they run MUCH wider.

hmmm... well street tires in big sizes for 18's are damn expensive.

best bet would be to go with a 295/35/18 or 285/35/18. 315/30/18's are redonkulasly expensive. I assume these are going on 18x10's correct?

My votes go for:

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireDetail.do?c=3&sw=false&cs=295&pc=33310&rd=18&ar=35

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireDetail.do?c=4&sw=false&cs=295&pc=38538&rd=18&ar=35

I had both, and I liked the BFG KDW's much more.

Also, could do these

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireDetail.do?c=6&sw=false&cs=285&pc=40150&rd=18&ar=35

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireDetail.do?c=7&sw=false&cs=285&pc=18600&rd=18&ar=35
