With my upcoming pulley change, I'm seriously considering a new set of tires.
Now, since most of my racing is done on the street I need tires that give great cornering grip and also help launch drag-style.
After doing a bit of browsing, I found a great many drag radials with sticky rubber compounds (M/T ET Streets, Nitto NT555R Drag Radials , Hoosier, etc.) but I wonder if they're only good for the drag strip and don't provide much of an advantage in everyday hard-driving situations.
Would it be better to slap on something like Yokohama A032R, A520, Nitto NT555R II Extreme or Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 ?
Looks like I'm gonna go for the Yokohama 032R, but since I haven't completely made up my mind I'd really appreciate some help.
Thanks,
Lobo
