Tires for 18X9 Saleens

I want a little more ground clearance due to my lowering springs. I figure 18" wheels with the stock sidewall height will give me some.

265/35/18 is the recommended (stock) tire. Does anybody know if 275/40/18's all around will rub?

275's all around will work fine.

I saw a 01 cobra with them on it this weekend.. They fit but look a little tall..

I agree, I would think 275/35/18s would be the better fit.
Thats just me though.

I run 265 nitto's up front on my 18'' Saleens and 285 nitto drags in the back and have no rubbing issues.
