Can anyone recomend tires for 18" wheels?

Any comments on the Pirelli Pzero Rosso's?

I'm thinking about 18x9F w/275's and 18x10R w/ 315's

I looked through the past threads and it seems a couple pf poeple are running 18" wheels but they didn't say what tires they have on.

Will 315's on an 18" wheel fit in the back? The extra wheel diameter should give more clearence to the IRS bolt.

18'' tires can be hard to find in certain sizes. I have 18x9.5'' front and 18x11'' rear rims with, Bridgestone S-02's. 265/35/18 front 295/35/18 rear. They aren't they greatest for drag racing, but for road racing they are amazing, the car pulls really hard in the turns.

Now as for the 315's, there are only two 315 tires that I know of (not DR's) I forgot what brand they were, but give me a few mintues, I will find them on tirerack. 315's will fit, but it may depend on the offset of your rim.

I have Toyo Proxes. I bought them as a package deal at AFS. Seem to be nice on the street so far, yet to be tried at the track!

thanks for the replys. I really wanted 315's but now I'm kinda leaning towards the Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position's. I plan to autox as well as drag race. First autox event up here is this Sunday.

you mean the S02? I checked out the new pole position one, but it looks like regular S02 potenza is rated better in dry traction and turning ability. If you want great handling these tires are definately the way to go.

Looks like your right. The S02 also comes in a 295 which I see now from your previous post is what your running on the rear.

Have autox'd on these tires? I think I may go with the setup your running. 265F and 295R. I don't drive my cobra in the rain so I won't miss the lowered wet traction of the S02's.
