I have 295/30/18 BFGoodrich g-force KDW at 38psi on the rear and during tuning and dyno pulls the tires keep slipping? Car makes around 480rwhp and 480rwtq, do you recommend dropping pressure to get better traction?

Thank you for the post 2003cobra22.

What are the rear wheel dimensions? Were the tire recently mounted?

Or try a different dyno. I assume you are strapping down on an in-ground dyno? Problem is the straps just pull toward the rear, not down.

You may have a bit more traction if you position the car farther back on the roller so the car has to "climb" the roller instead of sitting on the roller peak.

Above ground dynos have the ability to run straps in different configurations. At our shop, we normally use four straps. 2 are crossed and pull back to keep the car centered. The other 2 pull inline and down to keep the tires planted on the rollers. We have no problem with wheel spin on 900+hp cars on street tires.

Good luck.
