Tire size recomondations on 17x9 rims

thats probably what i will do. go with 255 in front.. the 275 are awfull when it comes to wanting to follow the road groves.

No the 275's won't change anything they are withing a tenth of an inch of each other. Here is a tire size calculator that works great for this kind of thing.

I ran both 285/40/17 and 275/40/17 on the rear and 255/40/17 up front.

Tramlining was bad with the Nittos,Goodyear and BFGs, not nearly as bad with the Ecsta MX.

BTW, Nitto DRs run narrow. The street tires are about the same as everyone else.

I'm running a 275/35/17 555r drag radial out back and 255's in the front. The backs are good but I have major issues with the tram lining with the front wheels. I need to have my front suspension gone over though because I don't think the 255's should handle THIS BAD. I suspect I have other issues but have not tracked it down yet.
