Tire Size help !

Im ordering 275/40/17 all around for my 97 Cobra . The problem is some people are telling me the ones in the front are going to rub. I am also getting 17x9 chrome R's so I want the car to look good with them. I have 255/45/17 on the stock rims now but I think with a bigger tire it will look better whats your opinion please help.

They will not rub, I got 17x9 cobra R wheels with 275/40/17 all the way around and you can turn the steering wheel all the way and there is no rub.

Buying the Ford Cobra R's will already have the proper back spacing for the front tires.

I have the Cobra r rims at are 17 x9 and my tires are in the 255/45/17 and the back 275/40/17 dr and they are fine. the stock rims 17x8 the tire over hangs a little on the side walls. Eric97.

Exactly what I'm running. If I wasn't running the 275 dr's on the back, I'd probably run the same tire all around (ie, 275, but the 255 up front is fine for what I need)

edit: LOL, it's taken me 2 years to get to 100 posts. I'm slow.
