It is time for me to get a new rear tires and I am debating if I should run 295/35/18 or go with 315/35/18 bfg drag. I am currently running 295/35/18 on my ssr gt3 18X10.5 rims, I am not lowered/stock ride height suspension. would I need a low profile IRS bolt to run the 315? would like to hear from the guys with similar set up.

315 would be my thing on a 10.5" rim. They would look total sex.

I don't think you'll need the low profile IRS bolt to run the BFG 315 drags radials. I had em on my car for a long time (I have the same wheels you do) and they fit fine. Now I have a 335 BFG street tire on the back, and even they fit fine.

I'd put the IRS bolts on for cheap insurance, no reason to chance it IMO. I don't have aftermarket rims yet, but I purchased the bolts and swapped them in when I was doing rear springs/shocks. Takes all of 5 minutes to do.

In general, for a wheel that size I think you should run at least a 315. I'm running a 315 on 18x10.5, it's just not on a Cobra.
