Tire question

Hi folks

i tried searching for this but couldn't come with a definite answer, please what would be the widest tire i can put on my stock 17s in the rear with put major rubbing? I need new tires soon and i thought i might as well ask

If you dont want to have any worries then get a 295 or 305 but not sure any makes that in a 17. 315s will bulge. Im running 275's
