Hello Gents,
I’ve been looking on the CJ Pony website for a tire and wheel packages.
The one I like is a set of 4 Shelby powder chrome wheels, 20 inch front and back.
Front tires will be 265/35-20 on 9.5 inch rims
Rear tires will be 285/35-20 on 11 inch rims

what say you?

Need pics and I tend to stick with what has been done by the "trail blazers" on this site.

Back spacing and off set are all things I like to minimize interfering with my end goal

And a 285 on an 11" wheel? Why?
And is that even possible?

If you have to have an 11" rear, & the offset & backspacing is correct, a 315/35-20 will fit..

Minimum 305/35 on the 11" rear. The 285 will look horrible and will look very odd with the front size you are going with.

Well how about this, all 4 wheels being 9 1/2 wide and 20 inch rim, what tires front and rear do you recommend?

I would like to buy a staggered set just like stock, 19 and 20 inch with 9 1/2 rims, again just like stock but nobody sells a set like that. You have to go to 20” all the way around. Frustrating

285 is the widest tire most manufacturers recommend for a 9.5" rim in the aspect ratios applicable to these cars.

The rear tires in my sig pic are 325/30-20s with 285/35-20s up front, and that's about the limit. Offset is critical and removal of the upper bump stop bracket is highly recommended.

I did a staggered set of Forgestars on mine. 19x10 with 285/35/19 up front and rears were 20x11 with 315/30/20.

285 on an 11 is a bit stretched. vettes run that, as do some other cars. i currently have a 295 on my 20x11 but its an mpss, which run wide. i have 285 on the 9.5 up front. for most tires/brands i would say at least 305 on an 11. i have a set of 325s sitting here i was going to put on some 11s but would prefer to put them on an 11.5
