Matt,
Oddly enough, my rear tires have worn significantly faster than my fronts, and need replacing. I have an opportunity to purchase two replacement BFG KDW tires (295/35-19) from the remaining inventory of a tire seller. They have never been used, have been stored indoors, and have a manufacturing date of 2011. Fronts are 275/35-19.
Should I be concerned with the manufacturing date? It has been a real PITA finding tires that I like to fit my 19" wheels. I really liked the KDW's, and they quit manufacturing them! Other than being a bit noisy, they have performed flawlessly, and stick like glue. I have even driven it in the rain.
The rears are mounted on 19x11 wheels. I could stand to go a little wider if I do go with a different tire. Question is, how wide can I go, and who makes one? Car is a 2007 GT500, with a Shelby Watts Link.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Kevin
