Ticket question (no i didn't get one)

So Im applying for a job that requires a clean driving record.

The only ticket thats still on my record is a speeding ticket I got in Missouri about 2 years ago.

I live in Louisiana and the job is in Louisiana

So my question is, if they check my record will an out of state ticket show up?

Both states are members of the Interstate Driver's License Compact. Therefore they report tickets to each other.

it depends on the ticket you have on how fast is your record..

No it doesn't. It depends on the service his company uses to check for citations and whether they only check in state or also for tickets reported out of state. It has nothing to do with how fast he was going.

A flag for not returning my vanity NY license plate prevented me from renewing my LA drivers license...so it is possible that your ticket could show depending on what service they use.
