So im deciding if i should fix my throwout bearing before i sell it or just let the new owner fix it himself and take off the price for the part and labor on my asking price? a local shop is going to charge me only 350 to put it in? I would gladly do it myself but with my work schedule and how its raining 24/7 its not possible.

So ive taken a few mechanics out for a drive to listen to a specific noise im getting from the clutch pedal area. When im driving and i change gears im getting a whining type of noise that emits from the clutch pedal. the noise gets louder with rpm's i was guessing that the TOB noise is traveling through the fork into the clutch cable line? thats the only thing i can come up with? the clutch holds great.

the car is going to be sold or kept relativly stock so i dont find a need to upgrade the clutch rite now. Car only has 16k miles on it. Also is it necessary to get lethals TOB retainer???

Thanks for the help
