throttle body question

2 questions:

1)what is a good brand? I really don't want to go w/ a knock off if i can help it

2)is it hard to install one? is it really time consuming or is it pretty simple.

TB won't do much good on a N/A bolt on Cobra.
Not worth the $$$$$ for sure.

im happy with my BBK, should take about 20 minutes if all goes smoothly.

I'd worry about other mods before you do that though...full exhaust, if you want to make some noticeable power, get a cold air kit, some underdrive pulleys, and a throttle body and put them on all at once.

They are not worth it on a N/A 4.6

Even blown the stocker is great until you get pretty high up in HP

The only reasons to justify a TB would be on a showcar where you wanna add underhood blind, or making over 600rwhp, or you are really set on blowing a lot of money to get crisper throttle-response.

My 98 cobra is blown and still has the stock tb. If you really have your heart set on getting a tb, Accufab makes a really good tb.
