My turn for the throttle body plug. It popped out tonight under boost.

anyone ever find the size if a set screw that matches the threads? I thought about a little of the JB Weld putty and just seal it shut.

Thoughts?

I think I put my plug back in and rtv'd it. Lol

Its amazing the amount of hoses and crap that blow off when you first get the boost.

For future searches, decided to make it look nice, instead of JB Weld steel stick, which would have worked fine. Measured the top of the hole (upper, unthreaded part) and it measures 0.52. Closest thing to tap would either be 5/8 or 16mm. Decided to go with a 5/8-11 X 1/2 set screw. No need to drill at all, just tap, put thread sealant on set screw and done!

NOTE: I took throttle body off car to tap, then got all the aluminum chips from tapping out and put back on. 15 minute job.
