G'Day, guys. Hope you can help me out.
I'm slowly scrounging parts for a blower kit for my ute, and the throttle body needed on the parts list is shown as an 05 Mustang.
I know I can't use an 04 or previous, as the 5.4 (at least the Aussie one) is drive-by-wire. The blower would be wanting a decent amount of air, so I was thinking maybe I could go a TB off a GT500 instead, since I know those, at least, are DBW as well.
I guess my questions are:
1. is the 05+ Mustang GT DBW?
2. how do the GT/GT500 TBs differ electronically (if at all)?
To (hopefully) make things easier, here is a pic of the setup i'll be getting. can you identify the throttle body? We don't get the mustang here, so i'm kinda relying on someone knowing and helping out...
