My first question for the experienced vets. is shoud there be any slack in the throttle cable and if not how do I fix it? And my second question is will a 1 inch spacer make the front tires stick out too much on a 96 if I am running stock wheels with 255/40's? I can look at the rear and tell that it needs atleast an inch, but the front concerns me. Once again, thank you all in advance.

There should be a little bit of slack, not alot.

The spacers will make that car look like @ss. hell a 1" spacer makes a 15x3.5" wheel stick out, let alone a 17x8. Have you tried swapping wheels and going wider?

Naw, I haven't. I was just looking for a cheap fix. However, I didn't realize that the spacers were only for the rear, so I think that I will be fine up front. It looks good now in the front with the 255s, but I just didn't like the recessed look in the back.
