I've been looking for a 'not so loud' high flow BOV and the Tial QRJ caught my attention. It flows more than the QR and it has a larger outlet, so it should be quieter.

Here is a quote from another forum:
QRJ flows more than the QR, bc its going in at 50mm and coning down to become "R" recirculating 1". The QRJ in 38mm in and 38mm out. The Q flows the most but you will have the blow off noise during constant speed's or shifting.

I would most likely attach a filter, a section of hose, or some sort of silencer.

Thoughts on the QRJ?

I wonder if this would surge with me pushing 16psi out of my vortech. I really do hate the tial Q.

I wish someone with first hand experience would weigh in, but it looks like there are several folks running the Tial Q with setups well over 20 psi. If you put the Tial QRJ next to the Q, you can see there isn't that much difference. I speculate the QRJ could very well hold up to the high teens.

Well, I decided to give this a try. I bought a QRJ from a place called Cracked Up Racing for $193. It'll be at least a couple of weeks before I install it. I'll try to remember to post back.
