Looking at selling my '97 Expo and the '02 Sentra (staying in the family) and getting a '99 L. I was at first just looking for a normal p/u but if I keep the Jeep, which I wouldn't get much for if I sell her, then I will have my winter car and beater and my snake and a useable bed in a truck. A very fast truck. lol

I found this L, it is higher milage than I would want for a gas s/c truck but with an asking price of 16,995 I know I can work down from there.

Thoughts, comments, suggestions?

Thanks,
John

You might check the L forum.....

You could find a lower mileage slightly modded L on NLOC for about that price...

You gonna be hard pressed to find an 01+ for under 20k.

the 99/00 are better deals and when it comes to modding it equals out. IMO, the only thing the 01+ have over the 99/00 are some minor aesthic issues (excluding the heads on the late 02-04s)

01 and up are much more money than the older ones.

I hate the newer ones tail lights any ways but the rest is nicer, however I wouldn't sneeze at a '99 L. :)

00 here

I wouldn't sweat it as long as the intercooler update has been done.

18k miles. Just refinanced and was valued at over 21k.......not including mods.

I think that was KBB price.

I bought my L about a year ago.Its a 99 it had 45,911 miles on it when I bought it and I gave 15,500 for it and it booked for 20,000. I would go lower for on the price.

Bingo, hence my tuners on the way and I'm very happy with my 00 w/42k for a little over that.
