I had this strange noise coming from the front drivers side of the motor, kinda sounded like two marbles being banged together......
I let a buddy listen to it since he just went through "tick" issue on his late run Cobra. He said it sounded different which made me a bit nervous....
I had recently switched from a gatorback belt to a gates belt due to belt dust from the gatorback...well the gates put off dust also, so I switched back to the gatorback this afternoon since the gatorback sounds cooler.....
When I took off the gates I noticed about a 2.75 inch section of the rib side of the belt had no ribs!!!:bash:
Needless to say the marble noise went away.....:beer:
Now I am happy that my car does not have to go to the dealer:rockon:
