I'm thinking that the stall we all know and love isn't being addressed by Ford fast enough and I am concerned with it stalling at a bad time (e.g. stopping for a crosswalk for pedestrians) and know that if something did happen, we'd have a very hard time proving that an accident was caused by the stall an not driver error.
If it came down to personal injury or a fender bender, I don't think we'd get a fair shake and our insurance companies will be very difficult to deal with.
Just a suggestion: if you are stock and have the intermittent stall, it would be a good idea on your next service appointment to document that you are having a stalling issue when stopping with the clutch depressed.
That way, if something does happen, you at least have a documented case with the Ford dealer and help you out if your car does die in a bad spot.
Untill Ford recognises and published this, they are refusing responsability for anything that happens on the road and you are SOL.
Just a thought.
