I just recently switched from 3.73's to 3.55 and added 18's from 17's. I tried using Dallas mustangs site but when i put my info in to convert from stock settings to what i have now it doesn't come out right. It was a crap shoot when i did the 3.73's also. I bought the car with 4.56's and the guy had 255/55's on the rear and the speedo was correct. I asked what he did to change it and didn't really know, said he thought it was done in the computer :uh oh: i was like whatever.... Anywho.. for the 3.73's i had to put in the 4.56 info and convert down on the DM converter. I kinda did the same thing with this recent change and i'm about 2-3 mph off. I'd like to have it as close as possible. Long story short. 1. what is the stock speed gear tooth count?
2. Do they make one to correct 4.56's (because maybe that's how the last owner corrected for the change?) And what color is it and tooth size.
3. Does anyone have 3.55's and 18's with
295/35's using a Speedcal....what are your settings.

Sorry this was so long.....

I have 295/35 18s, but I have 4.30s
Wish I could help you better.
What's the actual height of the 295s?
Why in the world would you swap 4.56s out for 3.73s, then down to 3.55s?
I can see swapping the 4.56s fpr 4.30s or 4.10s, but all the way to 3.55s?
WHY?
Might as well just go back to the stocker 3.27s

Only reason I see is the twin hairdryer mod he has.
3.73s were still steep, 3.27s not enough.

Must be pretty bad ass with TTs.
My advice, call dallas mustang. lol
They will probably be your only help. No one else I can think of has that combo.

I have the list of all the slide codes, but I need to know the actual height of his rear tires.

Why don't you have pics of the tt's on your car domain?
