I am helping a friend find a 14. What have you guys been paying?

I remember a thread a few months back and it seemed like everyone was getting smoking deals.


What would be a good deal for the following cars before taxes and after rebates?

14' GT Premium manual Silver dealership is asking $31k I believe after factory rebates
14' GT Premium brembo car silver dealership is asking $33k after rebates

Premium cars are still over $30k, I think it's hard to find a good deal in Florida compared to other states.

Definitely harder to get a smoking deal in Florida versus say, Texas. But I don't see many of the $7-8000 off deals that I saw 6 months ago. Without knowing the MSRP or better, invoice, I would shoot for a minimum of $3000 under sticker on a car in the $36000 range before any rebate. Just a rough place to start. That would be firmly below invoice. You have to watch Florida and doc fees.

My 14 Premium Track Pack had an msrp of $39,680, paid $32,900 before taxes, almost $7000 off of msrp.

My 14' 300A A6 stickered for $33,290 and I got for $28,300 out the door. That was with trading in my 13'. I got a check back for $1400 from the extended warranty on the 13' as well so I guess you could say i got the car for $26,900 out the door...

AMEX True Car pricing is a good price to start with. There's $4,000 worth of rebates for the GT, without knowing all the options, 7,500 off MSRP for a BREMBO car and Comfort Grouo should be easy to get.

Do you guys think I can get this any lower?

They told me the following:

$30,799

plus tax and $699 dealer fee.


I personally feel they can do better than that. I am also trading in my white 12' w/ 11k miles 10/10 inside and out. Shaker 1000, premium 19's, pedestal spoiler, hood scoop, black and red leather.

My car stickered for $35,725, got it for $29,995, plus tax, tags, fees. Not as good a deal as I read other people getting, but I'm in Nj, and I checked EVERY Ford dealers inventory in NJ and nobody had a black on black base GT Track Pack car in stock, except this dealer and this also just so happened to be 5-10 minutes from my house, so I bought it!

Just for your info, Koons Ford has quite a few 14s leftover and do pretty big discounts. They seem to have Track Pack cars with Recaro seats. Atleast they did a month ago when I was looking for one, just couldn't talk myself into driving to Maryland, so I made my life easy and bought the one down the street from my house, just didn't get Recaro seats in it, oh well!

Purchased my car 6 months ago, 14' Premium, Brembos, etc, Sticker was $38,800 Traded in a car they valued at $6,500. I paid 24k, good deal from ford because I had just purchased a lemon from them.
