Ive read that most weigh MORE than the stocker??? WTF is up with that.....suggestions??

Being that the stockers are aluminum almost all aftermarket hoods weigh more. The closests ones are carbon fiber and from what I understand they still weigh a few pounds more.

Yeah that is true.... I got CF hood comin tomorrow, can't wait! The cowl hood looks badass though, I wouldnt worry about the weight...

Weight be damned, cowl hoods rock. After picking up and moving my hood around prior to installation, I forgot how light the stock hood was. When we went to lift it off the truck we almost threw that bitch lol.

No, its the Kaminari... I really wanted a cowl hood, but couldnt pass up the deal on this one... I'll get some pics up tomorrow if the weather holds out... sorry for the hijack... GET THE COWL HOOD, you will not be disappointed for a few extra pounds!

Yeah, they are a little heavier than stock but the gains in the look department are well worth it.
