So some clown ran a red light and the wife hit her. She said she didn't even see the light so was obviously at fault. We've had this car since new and it has about 170K on it currently; is an 03. Sucks because it has been a great car.

Anyways there is front end damage, bags deployed, windshield damaged, the core support is jacked, and everything is smashed up against the engine. It has power but it won't go into park. Part of me wants them to just total it out instead of dealing with a repaired car. Thanks.

No. That car with that mileage is only worth about 5k. You've got that amount just in replacing the airbags.

It will definitely be a total loss.

It's gone, my girlfriend's car (2002 Focus) was just recently in a front end accident, yours looks much worse then hers. We tried to have them fix it even with just used parts and they said it wasn't worth it, hers had less miles on it also.
