A Ford dealer here in So-Cal has 2000 Cobra R # 300. This is what I heard, I haven't checked on it yet. Also heard that the owner of the dealership (Mustang collector - has 93 and 95) was originally going to keep it for himself and wouldn't even sell it for 100K. However it is now for sale, but you have to call to get the price.

If you are seriously interested, I'll make a drive out there and check it out for you.

Colley Ford is the one that suppossedly has #300. If they are asking $99,000 it may very well be true.
