THE JOB - URINE TEST (I sure would like to know who wrote this one! They deserve a HUGE pat on the back!)

I HAVE TO PASS A URINE TEST FOR MY JOB...SO I AGREE 100%. Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.





Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ASS, doing drugs, while I work...Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't. Hope you all will pass it along, though...Something has to change in this country -- and soon.

Good point but Big Brother will increase your taxes to pay for the tests, not cheap, and the majority of people receiving these benefits are well aware of how to pass a piss test in a moments notice.

Also, more than likely the offset of people not passing the drug test (i.e. tax payers will not have to them pay for their unemployment) will be greater than the cost for the drug test. Not to mention the piece of mind having your tax money not go to a drug addict.

A logical idea, but if you think a druggie is just going to "piss away" (pun intended ) his welfare check, you're in for a wake-up call. When the pee testers get there to administer the test, they'll be out the back door so fast it's not even funny. Honestly, you'd have to send the SWAT team to retreive tests.

I agree with it. Actually, its more like disagreeing with the current system in place for welfare. Welfare should be temporary, you should not live your life off of it and it should be a supplement to the income you make at your JOB. No job, no welfare.

That will never happen. The American population is now teeetering to the moron side. They don't even know socialism when its right in their face. Perfect example is over the weekend the USA government took control of the Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac banks and not a peep by either party or anyone in the mainstream media of what a communist/socialist move this was. Those banks should have been allowed to fail. Yet most people in the American public can't even analyze what took place there. This is a perfect example of how stupid this generation of Americans is and how they are complicit in destroying this great nation. Degeneracy has its price.

I agree with urine test is high risk jobs, but if I'm workin at K-mart... get off my balls. And I think drugs and booze are only an issue if the employee does them at work, or does drugs that effect thier ability to work: IE: heroin, crack, speed, meth, IE hard stuff.
I've worked with many people who smoke bud, myself included, and we work CIRCLES around the people who don't. Weed only makes you lazy if your prone to be lazy anyways! And what I do in my personal time IS NOT the bussiness of my employer. That's like getting fired cuz your job found out you drive a car that gets 12mpg, cuz they don't like gas guzlers...

Unemployment should do it for anyone wanting to claim for over a month.
Same with anyone who collects Social Security who isn't disabled, and is under 30.
Course, I also think weed shouldn't be illegal, but if it comes up on a drug test, you get disquallified for certain things:
IE: unemployment, work mans comp etc. Make it legal, but FORCE people to be safe and smart about thier usage.

I've never heard a fellow pot head type it any better. I agree with everything you just said and am the exact same way as you. Plus around my area they sell fake piss that will pass any drug test. Except those damn hair or nail tests.

The op has a good point but this point is legit too. If it worked like it should it would be great but too many people can get around it.
