If my registration expires today, but I am looking at purchasing a new vehicle next week and would rather not spend the money if I am getting rid of the truck, how many days grace do I have before I am ticketed? Also, if I am ticketed, will it be dismissed w/o fees if I show proof of purchasing the registration? Lastly, if I am on deffered will it affect that if I get a ticket?

Thanks!

no such thing as a grace period for getting a ticket. However if you do get a ticket you have 30 days to get the regristration from the date of experation of the regristration, if that is completed then it will cost $10 for dismissal. If its expired for more than 30 days, then you will be charged at the tax office, like $3 or something, and then the court will lower the fee from like $125 to court costs of $50 or something. I would say you have plenty of time, but get ready near the end of the month, you should just go get it and not bother with the tickets. Much easier and no hassle that way! My thoughts
