Tested out my new DSLR

Walked around the neighborhood and snapped some pics.
I'm new to DSLR's so feel free to bash and tell me what i did wrong or right.
Camera is a Nikon D5000 18-55mm 3.5-5-6 lens, used a circular polarizer on some but it was a cloudy day :\

If I had to guess, its not being daily driven in the salt but probably in a shops parking lot... unless someone else has a 57 chevy as a DD that happened to park right next to him....
