Has anyone had their car weighed? If so, where? Truck scales, individual corner weighting, etc. I know I could go with what Ford says, that's not what I want.

I have a Mach 1, w/an IRS. Everything I read, while researching whether I should do it, said it would add about 100-125 lbs. to my car. I've used a local truck stop(yes, same scales), verified I had 1/2 tank both times.
Before IRS-3380, w/stock Mach 1 wheels
After IRS-3420 w/18"" Roush wheels

This doesn't seem right to me. Can anybody let me know your thoughts?

my 03 was weighed at silverdollar raceway in Atlanta GA and it weighed a little more than 3800lbs with about 1/4 tank of gas and me not in the car.

3,800 and 3,380, that's an average of 420lbs difference between the Terminator the Mach. Wow...

unless the scales I used were off but the GT500 is supposed to be about 200lbs heavier than the 03-04's.

on another note I know my 03 cobra hardtop was heavier than my 01 cobra vert as well. since I weighed them both on the same set of scales.

96 cobra, spare tire removal, etc. weighed on a small truck scale(no 18 wheel rig) 3440 lbs. what all did you do to get the mach down to 3380 pre IRS?

Nothing, that's why I was questioning my numbers. I still had the stock wheels/tires, 1/2 tank of gas, Roush bumper cover, Pro-3i RLCA(same weight as stock)-That's all of my mods then. My 3420 number was with everything in my sig.

This is my dilemna-I'm seriously thinking of getting rid of my Mach for a Cobra, for ease of upping the power on a car that is my daily driver.

The Cobra's weight could be attributed to: Eaton, coolant tank, heat ex., iron block, pulley shield, extra coolant lines, I'm reachin'. I just can't see where all of the weight is coming from.
