I Suppose this should be updated. It's been quite a long time and the car changed drastically. Once the IRS refresh was done I turned the car around in my little 1 car garage and decided to do a wire tuck. The decision to tuck the engine bay snowballed drastically out of control which somewhat led to the car being down for nearly 2 years now. I got the wire tuck almost complete, I then decided to do a custom cooling system. Delete the cross-over bypass, relocate the T-stat up top, and do all the hoses in braided with AN fittings. At this point, I had my wedding shower, wedding in Mexico, and decided to sell my house and purchase a new house and move. Needless to say car kept getting pushed to the side. Here are a few pics of the wire tuck and some of the cooling system mods. At this point the car was sitting, I was tossing around the idea of going a completely different direction. I had always wanted something geared more towards drag racing etc. So the decision to go turbo was made, I took the entire 03/04 Cobra supporting blower parts off, along with the Whipple and sold them to a buddy for his Mach 1. I purchased a single turbo set up locally for dirt cheap, didn't like it and ended up selling that. I then purchased an HP Twin Turbo complete system from a classified ad on the Corral. It consisted of the HP hot and cold side, Twin Precision 62mm Billet wheel turbos, dual widebands, scavenge pump, Eboost2 boost controller and a few other misc items. Had all of it ceramic coated, got everything installed. Turbo's, ceramic coated and powder coated. The initial plan was to run a Sullivan Intake, due to financials of buying a house, and renovating said house while having a baby just wasn't in the cards. I picked up a wrecked Mach 1 to part out and kept the intake assembly. Here are some before and afters of detailing it. Powder coated everything, and installed new stainless hardware. I even took the alternator apart to have it powdered as well. Here are some pics. In the process of all of this, My wife and I got pregnant with our first child and we also decided to remodel our new to us house lol. Needless to say the car was half complete and not going to be done for a very long time. My buddy Chad came to the rescue, picked the car up in his enclosed trailer. He had the task of finishing the exhaust, deleting the ABS pump and redoing the brake lines, vacuum lines, eboost 2 controller, cold side pipe, maf bung, and a few cooling system parts. He just completed all of that this weekend and delivered me the car on sunday. While the car was at his shop, I sold the Bullitt reps and purchased my Dream wheels. Weld V series. Unhappy with how the rears look, they will be sent off to Champion to get beadlocked. My job now, is to install my brand new FORE Innovations return fuel system, AEM widebands and have my buddy Joel give her the tune up. Here are some more pics. We hardlined and used push lock fittings for all of the Vacuum lines for a very clean look. Here are a few pics of how the car is currently sitting. Waiting on Return Fuel System, and Tune up.
