were your conditions exactly the same? I wouldn't be too worried since the numbers are real close together

I thought stock compression numbers should be anywhere from 150 - 180 to be considered "normal". All 8 cylinders being within 5% or so of one another in that range.

106 - 111 seems way low.

that's why i was asking about test conditions, but yes they are lower than i would personally like to see but at least even

well my first test a couple of months ago was outside and about 35 degrees(cold) and my recent test was in my garage about 60 degrees. im just tryin to figure out the possible issues with the car. Its not stock but all internals are. its whippled 2.3 with a lotta fuel, tune, 200 shot and drive train. its best time is 9.54. w/ 1.24 60ft. all stuffed into a 97 body (as seen in avatar). So im not too sure whats the gig. im thinkin due to possible surface rust from the incedent, i need a ring and valve job. any thoughts?

Make sure the car is hot, and you are holding the throttle all the way open while cranking.
