Temperature control dial issue

Is this a bad vacuum line causing my temperature selector to bounce/spring back from full cold setting? I pulled the center console apart but everything looks ok, but when I put the dial to full cold it spring back off full cold??

My guess would be an internal o-ring that is binding.
Maybe you can spray some silicone in the lines or ports.

Of course it worked fine last season. I'll get back in there and get a closer look at it.

I've noticed my temp control knob will spring either way from dead center, but only if the blower is on full blast. Keep us posted as to what you find.
