I like the combination a lot, I've been running the same setup for a while now and it's working really well. The 4:10's made the car a lot more enjoyable to drive even when your not in boost, it also helps keep this little engine up in it's power band where it likes to be. The M&H's have been awesome so traction was never really an issue but I do have speed based boost control which is amazing! Here's a dig race on the street vs AWD 1000hp Aventador. I could have left a little harder but I had my hook anywhere tune in it. :)

Here's one from a 55mph roll vs CTS-V

So 55 should be pretty good in 2nd gear for you, how much boost was it seeing at the start on the 55 roll?

^^ Can't wait for my engine to be done so I can see where the shift points are going to be. I might be going back to 4.10's again if I can rev it high enough. It won't be 8800rpm high but if I can do 7800 that would be sweet.

I don't have an intake that can make power that high. I'll be stopping around 7500, with 3.31's and a TH400 that's plenty of RPM.

Hey 1fast-turbo thanks for dropping in! It seems you have the type of build I'm looking for, would you mind me asking what rods you're running and cams? I appreciate anything and all you're willing to share!

It's my pleasure, I love this stuff.

I'm running Manley Billet 300m I-beam rods, Accufab uses them for most builds (they built my long block). My cams are from Accufab as well, they wouldn't even tell me the specs but he did say the lift was around .500".

Lift means basically nothing in 4v heads and without Accufab building the motor I would not touch lift that high. Max lift is normally around .475. However, if he spec'd them that high he had a reason and I am not going to pretend I know more than Accufab.

Thanks yea I love to learn anything and everything I can as well for my build.
I'd recently been looking at the 300m I beams I'd read they were perfect for high rev engines but couldn't find much on any mustangs running them unfortunately. How long have you been using them for high revs? Holding well?
And ok I'll probably look into there site to check the types of cams they use maybe I can find some info. Are you still using 4.6 heads then? And was the manifold and intake custom by accufab or?? Thanks again!

You want custom grinds, no one will make cams that fit what you've asked.
