I take the TBAS next week for the first time, and from what research I've done, there's no way to practice for it. But, if anyone has taken it recently, could you give a few pointers? Not test compromise of course, but maybe some hints on the general layout of the test, like how the sections are broken up and how you studied for them.
Are these the subtests? :
Directional Orientation Test
Multi-Tasking Test Section
3-Digit Listening Test
5-Digit Listening Test
Horizontal Tracking Test (HTT)
Airpline Tracking Test (ATT)
HTT & ATT
HTT, ATT, and 3-Digit Listening
HTT, ATT, and 5-Digit Listening
Emergency Scenario Test
Also, I've found these references so far.
Tips on the Test of Basic Aviation Skills (formerly the Basic Attributes Test)
TBAS UAV Practice Questions Flashcards - ProProfs
Did you use a computer flight simulator (with a joystick and rudder pedals) to practice the multi-tasking portion? Is the targeting inverted?
Thanks for any input!
