I'm running a 2.2KB at 19lbs, densecharger, Bassani cat-less X and catback. I am using the stock TB and Stock KB TB plenum (with two holes). Would I be wasting my time going to a big oval TB without changing the KB plenum (I really don't want to yank the blower again to put the big oval plenum on)?

Should I even fool with an aftermarket TB? Am I costing myself a lot of power running 19lbs on the stock TB?

I am going for a tune in two weeks, and don't know if I should do a tb before then, or what. I really don't want to change that plenum. Will I have too?

Thanks

you can't mix & match throttle bodies and plenums...they won't function properly

if you go to a single-blade TB, you need a SB plenum and vice versa

I was fearful of that. So would I gain much by switching plenum and TB? Is there a good 2 hole TB out there that is far superior to stock for twin screw purposes?

no, not really any superior dual-bores...

stock pieces can be ported for increased airflow but nothing will give you the awesome throttle response of a single-blade :coolman:
