Talk me into using my tires before widening the wheels....

I'm having a serious moment of weakness.... I want to send my rear SVTPP wheels off to get widened to 11". BUT I have nearly perfect condition goodyear G2's still on there. I can't quite bring myself to peal off $800 worth of rubber and have them sit in the garage to put 315's on. The sensible thing to do is wait until the tires are bald- then widen 'em. But it's winter and they're off the car. I was at the UPS store and couldn't stop myself from buying boxes big enough to ship the wheels off..... help!

Sell them, im taking of my pilot sport ps2's with around 50% tread left for Mickey thompsons.

One good thing is I have a tire machine at my parents for when I wanna swap

My car has 4500 miles on it and I dropped off my wheels to have my third set of aftermarket tires mounted today! The tires I took off the car had about 1000 miles on them!

If we let good sense stop us from spending money on our cars, where would we be?!
