T56 tranny

I think I might go back to t56. I have a th400 love it but it sucks on the streets and highways. Will the magnum t56 handle 800 tq?

It will but some members on here and modfords have broken them too iirc.

Transmission are not HP rated.They are TQ rated.
So you could be 1100-1400 HP,just as long as your TQ stays in the "safe zone" youll be good.Transmission that break are usually because of user error.because a transmission is built 1000tq capable and your only making 800tq,doesnt mean you can do 6k clutch dumps on slicks at the track.
Im going with a Stage 7 from RPM myself.

whats the biggest issue with it on the streets and highways? I was thinking of going auto.
